This was a nice, comfortable boat. The flare to the bow was so exaggerated that she was incredibly dry and it seemed the worse the seas, the nicer she rode. All glass (even the engine stringers), she was as solid as the rock of Gibraltar, and probably heavy as it as well; the single Chrysler 250 couldn't get it up on a plane without overheating. My cousin owned one with twin Chryslers; it planed very nicely. She originally came with a single Chrysler 210 hp, and was also available with twins. 6+' headroom below, and berths that even I could fit in comfortably. We kept her in Long Island Sound (Norwalk, CT) for 15 years or so, where we cruised extensively as far East as Block Island, and even made the trip West to the Big Apple and then North, all the way up the Hudson to Plattsburgh on Lake Champlain with her. We recently learned that she was reborn and lived in Texas for a while. After refitting her, and cruising around Galveston Bay, he put her up for sale in 2007, and that's when I lost track of her.

Hello thought i eould give a little insite on this i bought a 1965 that was originally from ct. I got it off a boat sales site out of Texas had it shipped back to nj. And started doing extensive research and work to restoring her back the her glory . I have all info even down to the original purchase price. I wonder if in fact thid is your boat. She is fitted with a Chrysler 440 motor when i got her. What is your name and town you had her titled in? If its yours i would like for you to come join in on her new launch into the water very soon.
Yes, it's my old TROMBENIK, I'm sure. CG documentation number 599513. It had a Chrysler 250 HP in it. Original engine was a Chrysler 215 HP. Last photos I saw (from the Texas listing), it still had the cushions in the V berth that my wife had made. Well, classicboater's Pearson isn’t my old boat. The old Trombenik is still in Texas, and is being restored bt a fellow down there. I’ve seen photos that include my documentation number carved board, and that's that.
My 65 pierson is in backyard not being used but did start its 454 fresheater cooled moter witch made this boat fly 318 good for fishing or moring
Happy to have found this Blog...my fiance and I just bought the same boat... she needs restoration... but is still in pretty good shape....and ideas on where to get any parts for this boat..?? Love this boat!!

I have the same boat I bought it in 2013 and ran it for three years it's on the trailer now for bottom paint and ?. I have more than one big boat project going on but this one is next I live in Texas and I still have the original paperwork and blueprints for the original owner that it was built for in Grapevine Texas.
